What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrumentation and Control Engineer position at JMI Recruiting Services, LLC?
We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Instrumentation & Control Engineer search in the Cleveland, OH area.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support instrumentation, process controls, and Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC hardware and software, as well as control devices.
- Design and modify HMI graphic screens to enhance user interaction.
- Modify and install equipment for Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Lead initiatives focused on automation to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Instrumentation, process controls, and HMI systems experience.
- Must be able to develop or learn to develop PLC code and graphical interfaces for the plant SCADA systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
