Analytical QC Supervisor – GMP

About the role
Lead Quality Control analytical laboratory operations on the night shift, ensuring drug products meet quality and safety standards through compliant testing, data analysis, and effective team management. This role supports timely testing, stability studies, continuous improvement, and resolution of complex technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and oversee routine QC testing to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
- Create, review, and approve QC documentation while strengthening laboratory management systems.
- Lead continuous improvement, OE initiatives, CAPA, and process enhancements to reduce deviations.
- Troubleshoot assay and instrumentation issues using data mining, trending, and analysis.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop QC analysts while resolving personnel issues and fostering a cohesive team environment.
- Support regulatory and customer audits, site meetings, projects, and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field; Microbiology or Biochemistry preferred. M.S./Ph.D. preferred.
- 5–10 years of cGMP experience with 2 years of direct supervisory experience.
- Experience with laboratory software and hardware systems.
- Experience with LIMS, TrackWise, DMS, and electronic notebooks or similar GMP quality systems.
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, data trending, and analytical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to share knowledge, develop analysts, and effectively lead laboratory teams.
