About the role
QC Associate for Cell Therapy performing GMP testing (flow cytometry, qPCR, sterility, endotoxin) and ensuring accurate, compliant lab data and aseptic handling.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform QC testing of cell therapy samples (in-process, release, stability) including flow cytometry, qPCR, ELISA, sterility, endotoxin, and cell counts
• Follow GMP/cGDP guidelines and maintain aseptic techniques in all laboratory activities
• Document, review, and ensure accuracy of raw data and laboratory records
• Support trending and analysis of QC data for reporting purposes
• Perform routine laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration support
• Collaborate with team members and assist in additional QC tasks as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related scientific field
• 1 years of QC laboratory experience, preferably in biologics or cell therapy
• Hands-on experience with aseptic techniques and GMP/cGDP environments
• Familiarity with cell-based assays such as flow cytometry, qPCR, ELISA, or sterility testing
• Strong attention to detail with ability to accurately document and review data
• Proficient in basic computer tools including spreadsheets and word processing software
Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):
Estimated hourly range: $25–$30/hr (W-2).
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
