About the role
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead AI, Data, and Data Products for merchandising, translating business opportunities into scalable capabilities that improve merchandising decisions and productivity. This role partners with Merchandising, Data & AI, Engineering, and Technology to deliver trusted data products, prioritize AI use cases, and drive measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy, roadmap, and backlog for AI, Data, and Data Products across Merchandising.
- Define and deliver reusable, governed data products for analytics, AI, operational applications, and decision-making.
- Partner with merchants to identify opportunities across category management, assortment, pricing and promotions, vendor performance, and inventory.
- Translate business needs into data product requirements, AI use cases, and user stories.
- Establish measurable outcomes and drive solution adoption and value realization.
- Collaborate across Merchandising, Data & AI, Engineering, and Technology to deliver scalable solutions.
Qualifications
- 5 years of Product Management experience, preferably in retail merchandising, Data, AI, or enterprise data products.
- Strong understanding of the retail merchandising value chain, including category management, assortment, pricing/promotions, planning, vendor management, and inventory.
- Experience defining and managing data products, including data quality, governance, metadata, APIs, and semantic models.
- Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, AI/ML, GenAI, advanced analytics, cloud data platforms, and automation.
- Ability to translate business opportunities into product requirements and prioritize high-value use cases.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):
- Estimated hourly range: $75-85/hr (W-2).
- Final rate will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
Salary : $75 - $85
