Title: Molecular Technologist

About the Role
This position supports high-throughput molecular biology and NGS operations within a fast-paced biotech environment. You’ll perform library prep, sequencing, and routine equipment maintenance while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs and QC standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform NGS library preparation and sequencing following SOPs and QC requirements
- Operate and maintain automated liquid handlers, NGS sequencers, and core lab instruments
- Conduct routine (daily/weekly/monthly) equipment maintenance
- Assist with instrument troubleshooting and workflow optimization
- Maintain sample integrity and documentation accuracy
Qualifications
- BS/BA in a biological, chemical, clinical lab science, or related discipline
- 2 years of molecular lab experience in a regulated environment
- Hands-on experience with NGS, molecular biology, genomics, CRISPR, or library prep
- Familiar with automated systems, sample processing, and instrument QC
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs consistently
Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):
- Estimated range: $30–$38/hr (W-2)
- Final rate within the posted range depends on qualifications and interview outcomes.
