About the role
Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to develop, administer, and support applications within a Microsoft technology environment. This role combines software development, application support, troubleshooting, and systems administration across on-premises and cloud-based architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and support system integrations in partnership with technical SMEs.
- Design, program, implement, test, install, and configure applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and develop resolution plans.
- Identify and remediate IT vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
- Support users and technical staff while adhering to software and change management standards.
- Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and contribute to ongoing application support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack.
- Strong experience with .NET, SQL Server, IIS, and Windows desktop/server OS.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
- Knowledge of networking and hosting fundamentals supporting complex IT environments.
- Current, relevant Microsoft certifications and experience working within formal IT change controls.
Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):
- Estimated hourly range: $55–$60/hr (W-2).
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
