About the role
Join a hands-on engineering team focused on early-stage hardware validation and board bring-up for next-generation systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the bench, debugging complex hardware issues, and ensuring new designs are fully functional before firmware integration.
You’ll play a key role in validating power, signal integrity, and overall board functionality while collaborating closely with design, test, and firmware teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead board bring-up activities for new hardware platforms and carrier cards
Perform detailed hardware debugging at the component and system level
Validate power sequencing, voltage rails, and signal paths
Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and power supplies
Analyze schematics, PCB layouts, and design documentation to troubleshoot issues
Support design verification and ensure readiness for firmware integration
Apply structured debug methodologies to isolate and resolve hardware problems
Document findings, test results, and validation processes clearly
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, test, and firmware engineers
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
4–8 years of hands-on hardware engineering experience
Strong experience with board bring-up and hardware debugging
Familiarity with Cadence tools and PCB design environments
Solid understanding of power integrity, signal integrity, and clocking
Experience with lab testing and measurement techniques
Ability to interpret schematics and PCB layouts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and documentation skills
