About the role
Seeking a CAD Engineer II to support engineering design and development through accurate technical drawings, 2D/3D modeling, and design modifications. The role focuses on CAD software, PCB design, engineering standards, and design documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate 2D/3D models, engineering drawings, and blueprints using CAD software.
- Use Cadence Allegro for PCB design-related work.
- Modify existing designs to incorporate engineering changes and improvements.
- Review designs for accuracy, errors, and compliance with technical standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design issues and improve manufacturability.
- Maintain design revisions, documentation, and version records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a CAD Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
- Knowledge of Cadence Allegro and PCB design.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, and design standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials; PLM software experience is a plus.
Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):
- Estimated hourly range: $48/hr (W-2).
- Final rate will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
Schedule: First shift, 9/80 schedule. This is a 100% onsite position in Andover, MA.
