Project Estimator / Project Manager
JM Painting, LLC – Oregon & SW Washington, Montana.
Full-Time
Pay: $50,000 – $100,000/year (DOE) performance incentives
JM Painting, LLC is hiring a Project Estimator / Project Manager to manage commercial painting projects from estimating through closeout.
Spanish-speaking or bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates using On-Screen Takeoff (OST)
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from plans and specs
- Manage projects from award through closeout
- Track labor, costs, and schedules vs. estimate
- Prepare change orders, work authorizations, and pay apps
- Coordinate with GCs, field crews, and suppliers
- Maintain project documentation and reporting
Required
- 3 years commercial estimating experience
- 3 years commercial project management experience
- On-Screen Takeoff (OST) proficiency – REQUIRED
- Ability to read construction drawings and specs
- Strong cost control and change management skills
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred
- Commercial painting or specialty trade experience
- Public works / prevailing wage experience
- Spanish-speaking or bilingual
- Procore, Bluebeam, Excel experience
