Market Manager (Hospitality Preferred)

JM Group is a local hospitality group made up of restaurants and a seafood market located in Princeton, NJ. We are looking for a Marketing Manager who understands the hospitality business and what it takes to deliver results. Our company has future growth plans, and we are looking for someone assist and strengthen that process as the organization grows.

We are looking for an organized individual who is a team player and can interact with all levels within the organization. Their energy should be infectious, bring positivity and continuous support to those around them. They'll be working across multiple restaurants & retail establishment, overseeing, and executing all marketing efforts for the JM Group establishments. The individual must be flexible, versatile, an enthusiastic marketer who will be responsible for growing our brand awareness.

Marketing Manager's Responsibilities are:

  • Plan, direct, and/or coordinate marketing policies and programs.
  • Support JM Group companies by leading all print and digital marketing efforts, including but not limited to - social media management, website management & upkeep, digital advertising, print advertising, content creation, food photography, food videography and graphic design.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to spread the word about our company and drive qualified traffic to our organization.
  • Develop marketing campaigns across the JM Group family to expand reach, obtain new customers, and retain existing audience/customers.
  • Calendar management for all company projects.
  • Work with others to coordinate photography/graphic design/content creation to be used on the various social media platforms, websites and more.
  • Design content such as menus, event posters, and more to be printed and used at our physical locations as well as our websites/online.
  • Track and report key marketing campaign metrics.
  • Partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors to form strategic relationships.
  • Understand and assist with backend IT support.
  • Oversee product development and/or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services.

Marketing Manager requirements are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or some combination equivalent experience.
  • Multi Year experience in a social media strategy, digital marketing, and website management and/or creative content development setting.
  • Hospitality Industry Preferred!
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft 365, Squarespace, Adobe Creative Cloud, social media platforms, and Mailchimp (or other email marketing database).
  • Experience using e-commerce platforms.
  • Ability to keep up to date with current marketing trends and develop new ideas.
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels in engaging, educating, and motivating marketing campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc).
  • Experience in setting up and using AdWords campaigns.
  • Numerically literate can:

  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Exceptional organization.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask and keep up with a fast-paced environment.
  • Up to date with latest trends and practices with online marketing.
  • Team player, strong attention to detail, and self-motivated.
  • Strong passion and love for food.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.

The ideal candidate will own JM Group marketing efforts and be the "go-to" person for everything related to marketing. They are a strong multitasker who can balance the fast-paced needs of the JM Group establishments. They'll have a passion for food/beverage, hospitality, and building a stronger community. They must be reliable, friendly, self-motivate and possess strong leadership qualities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
