Position Summary: The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and testing full-scale robotic systems from the ground up in a high-mix, low-volume environment. This is a Full-time, non-exempt position reporting to our Production Supervisor.

Manufacturing floor that requires regular standing and walking for most of the workday. Subject to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Position Summary: The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and testing full-scale robotic systems from the ground up in a high-mix, low-volume environment. This is a Full-time, non-exempt position reporting to our Production Supervisor.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Layout, plan, and perform a wide variety of shop floor assembly installations consisting of but not limited to the mechanical fastening of electronic/electrical components to electrical panels and electrical enclosures
- Use common assembly, hand and power tools, drills, conduit benders, pipe threading equipment, and measuring devices such as volt meters and continuity testers as required
- Perform system testing consisting of checking input/output to all devices, verifying correct operations of devices and systems
- Verify parts are free of flaws, defects, or imperfections and meet all dimensional requirements as specified on drawings
- Assist Engineering with machine testing and factory acceptance testing as needed
- Assist with all shipping functions, including building skids and/or crates as needed
- Use forklift as needed for material handling tasks
- Maintain forklift training and certification
- Assist in maintaining grounds and facilities as needed
- Strict adherence to quality and safety standards
- Other duties may be assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree or technical education is a plus
- 3 years of related experience in the layout, assembly, and testing of mechanical systems
- Able to read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and schematics as required
- Industrial equipment experience (conduit, sensors, disconnects, etc.)
- Electrical experience is a plus
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools and equipment
- The ability to work with and understand electromechanical functionality
- Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
