Our client is seeking a qualified Claims Case Manager.

As a Claims Case Manager, you won’t just process paperwork — you will provide compassionate, trauma-informed support to individuals navigating the aftermath of significant, potentially life-changing incidents. In this role, you serve as a trusted guide, ensuring claimants receive reimbursement for eligible out-of-pocket expenses while experiencing professionalism, dignity, and care throughout the process.

This position is ideal for someone who combines empathy with precision — a professional who can manage complex processes while supporting people during vulnerable moments.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage End-to-End Claims Processing
  • Review, process, and manage incoming applications for reimbursement of incident-related expenses.
  • Independently verify claimant eligibility and confirm incident details in coordination with agency partners.
  • Confirm expenses and payments through communication with providers and collateral sources.

Provide Trauma-Informed Support

  • Conduct professional, compassionate outreach to victims and claimants.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact through a dedicated toll-free hotline and centralized email mailbox.
  • Maintain detailed inquiry logs for both potential and current claimants.

Drive Accuracy and Accountability

  • Use a CRM database to maintain, route, and track electronic case files throughout the full claim lifecycle (active, inactive, closed).
  • Create and manage spreadsheets to track submitted expenses and reimbursement status.
  • Ensure all casework is handled with integrity, discretion, and respect for privacy.

Support Program Operations & Reporting

  • Schedule and coordinate weekly project meetings, including drafting agendas, meeting minutes, and weekly status reports.
  • Provide data and administrative support for monthly project reports, annual reports, and Congressional reporting requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless case management services.

What You BringMinimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, psychology, social work, or a related discipline and at least three (3) years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in any field with at least five (5) years of relevant experience.

Professional Strengths

  • Demonstrated experience in case management, claims processing, or related client-service environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in high-profile or sensitive environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, process-driven environment.
  • Comfort working with databases/CRM systems and tracking tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance.

Preferred

Experience working for a federal government contractor.

Why This Role Matters

Every claim represents more than a file — it represents a person navigating recovery. Your work will directly influence how efficiently and compassionately individuals receive the financial support they need. You’ll contribute not only to individual outcomes but to program accountability and national reporting efforts.

If you are a detail-oriented professional with a heart for service and the discipline to manage complex processes with integrity, we encourage you to apply.

This position comes with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.
