- Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.
- Perform repairs, inspections and, or, replacements in the following areas: Automated doors, Office Furniture/Space enhancement, Lighting and Light Fixtures, Floor and Ceiling Tiles, Plumbing/Sewer Maintenance and Inspections, Toilet Facilities, Minor Construction Activities, Patch and Paint, Air Registers, Roof Leak Response, Any additional items that may be requested
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them
- Assures that site equipment is being maintained in an energy efficient, safe manner and that down time is reduced to a minimum by anticipation of necessary repairs keeping records of past operating experiences.
- Maintains good facility relations through prompt and courteous response to facility requests within the guidelines set forth by JLL and Client.
- Responsible for assisting the building engineering team with protecting and improving the value of the client’s assets and ensuring that building engineering systems continue to perform their intended function.
- Monitor the quality of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
- Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed.
- Maintain GMP training qualifications to ensure site compliancy standards.
- Will need to join Local 39 Stationary Engineers Union
- Demonstrating the proper use and care of tools and instruments.
- Work in a safe manner, submit near miss/good catch, and perform safety chats prior to working.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
- 2 years of experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of machinery, plumbing, equipment repair and maintenance.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
- Previous GMP environment experience
- Have working knowledge of CMMS systems
- Work with hazardous materials and chemicals.
- Wear air purifying respirator and wear necessary hearing protection.
- Work alternative shifts that could include graveyard shifts, weekends, holidays.
- Work overtime when necessary and work varying shifts, including on-call program.
- Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights to perform job functions as needed.
- Crawl, kneel and stoop and work in small spaces
- Physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, operate a motor vehicle as well as operate
Salary : $37 - $37
