Job Summary: The Mobile HVAC Service Technician performs comprehensive preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services across multiple commercial properties within an assigned territory. This role requires expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems while maintaining JLL's high standards of client service and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Primary Service Delivery: Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repair services on commercial HVAC systems, including packaged units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, and associated equipment Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, plumbing systems, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems Execute assigned work orders using CMMS technology with minimal supervision Conduct facility inspections and due diligence assessments, reporting conditions that impact client operations Territory and Client Management: Travel to multiple client locations within assigned geographic territory using company vehicle Plan and prioritize work assignments independently across multiple sites Identify and recommend energy savings opportunities through system optimization Maintain professional client relationships and communicate effectively with property management teams Technical Operations: Perform building envelope maintenance, interior/exterior repairs, grounds maintenance, and parking lot systems Operate and maintain production equipment as it pertains to assigned facilities Study and maintain proficiency with various building systems, equipment, and emerging technologies Respond to on-call duties and overtime requirements as business needs dictate Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; technical training or trade school degree preferred Minimum 4 years of technical experience in commercial building engineering with strong background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems Universal EPA/CFC certification (required) Valid state driver's license with clean driving record Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and applications Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environmental conditions Preferred Qualifications: Military experience with HVAC systems (may substitute for 1 year of commercial experience) Experience with building automation systems and CMMS technology Strong English language skills including technical documentation abilities Previous experience in commercial facilities service environment Skills and Competencies: Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with hand and power tools, electrical meters, and diagnostic equipment Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, digital) Strong time management and independent work capabilities Customer service orientation with professional demeanour Adaptability to changing priorities and emergency situations Physical Work Requirements: Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, and overhead work Ability to work from heights up to 30 feet using proper safety equipment Comfortable working in extreme temperatures and adverse conditions Extended periods of driving between locations Capability to climb ladders while carrying tools (up to 20 lbs tool bag) Reporting Structure: Reports to: Regional Facilities Manager or Service Operations Supervisor Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL. (Territory-based with multiple client sites) Work Shift: 1st shift with on-call rotation responsibilities This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
