Position Summary:
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial buildings. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose HVAC system issues in commercial buildings.
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and installations on a variety of HVAC equipment, including chillers, air handlers, and rooftop units.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, industry codes, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, explaining issues and providing recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies, and best practices.
- Provide emergency repair services as part of an on-call rotation schedule.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- EPA certification required; additional certifications (NATE, OSHA) are a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
