This dynamic role requires strong leadership skills to manage and mentor maintenance staff while collaborating with facility managers to meet financial targets and ensure operational excellence. You'll play a critical role in maintaining infrastructure compliance, managing major projects according to industry best practices, and serving as a role model for supporting team members across multiple locations.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Oversee maintenance and continuous operation of building systems across state-wide portfolio while performing hands-on maintenance work
- Develop and implement documented maintenance plans including preventive, predictive, and reactive procedures using CMMS systems
- Identify and address safety hazards, maintain PPE compliance, and administer safety training programs across multiple sites
- Keep detailed records of building rounds, engineering logs, and data sheets while ensuring infrastructure and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with facility managers to meet financial targets, handle budgets, and manage major projects according to industry best practices
- Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance staff while serving as on-call support 24 hours per day for emergency response
- Travel between multiple buildings and sites while working in varying environmental conditions and maintaining regular attendance
- Associate degree in engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
- 5 years facility-related work experience including customer service, leadership, and supervisory experience
- Certification as Universal Technician for CFCs required
- Technical expertise in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting with multi-skilled abilities in pipe fitting, plumbing, and electrical work
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (TEAMS, Outlook, Word, Excel) and effective use of CMMS systems
- Experience in critical facilities, lab environments, and high-rise environments
- Strong people management and team leading skills with ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
- Corrigo CMMS knowledge and experience
- Finance and budget general knowledge to assist facility managers
- Experience with JLL Client Assurance Program (JCAP) administration
- Advanced certifications in building systems and maintenance
- Experience managing state-wide or multi-location operations
