As a Facilities Maintenance Technician at JLL, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of building systems and equipment for our valued client, Becton Dickinson. Work Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Sunday and Monday off)

What your day-to-day will look like:
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and protocols
- Maintain and troubleshoot all utility systems throughout the building to ensure optimal performance
- Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures to minimize equipment downtime
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various HVAC equipment and systems
- Create and close out work orders with comprehensive data including labor hours, equipment maintenance records, and parts used
- Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with Becton Dickinson personnel
- Develop and execute work plans for emergency repair of critical assets
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedules, shifts, and areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Physical ability to move up to 49 lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Capability to perform repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking
- Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, manual tasks (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
- 4 years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in Mechanical or HVAC fields
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Experience conducting preventative maintenance on facility equipment
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
