What your day-to-day will look like:
- Perform mechanical system troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate reliably and respond to emergency situations as needed
- Conduct general interior maintenance including hanging pictures, wall repair, and painting to maintain building aesthetics and functionality
- Maintain lighting systems by replacing bulbs and ballasts throughout the facility
- Assist the operations team with building and equipment maintenance and repairs
- Perform minor plumbing repairs and move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested
- Execute special tasks including welding and general maintenance projects
- Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as-found conditions
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety of work areas while recognizing danger and safety hazards and proposing methods to eliminate them
- Comply with all safety procedures and participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid state driver's license
- 2 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, and basic plumbing and electrical
- Physical ability to perform frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including working from ladders/lifts
- Completion of an applicable technical training program
