Work Shift: M to F-11pm to 6am

As a Building Maintenance Technician at JLL, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' facilities operate smoothly and safely. You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various building components, directly contributing to tenant satisfaction and operational excellence. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to apply your technical skills across diverse building systems while maintaining the high standards JLL is known for in property management.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Perform repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various components of the physical structure of buildings
- Maintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps
- Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, furniture, and controllers
- Prepare, prime, and paint building interior and exterior surfaces and perform general handyman tasks including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture systems
- Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts to ensure optimal system performance
- Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations
- Respond effectively to all emergencies while maintaining compliance with all safety procedures and ensuring good housekeeping of work areas
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely perform overhead work while standing on ladders up to 28 ft
- Ability to regularly walk, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, lift, push, and pull in order to test and perform maintenance
- Experience with locksmith work and door hardware systems
- Familiarity with fire extinguisher documentation and building system compliance
- Knowledge of hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal procedures
- Experience performing vehicle safety inspections
- Proficiency in completing Hazard Assessments and work documentation
