What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sample Prep Technician position at JLA International?
JLA International, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for a Part-time Sample Prep Technician position at its facility in De Leon, TX.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
A High School education or GED (required)
Basic math skills
Good attitude and willingness to work with others
Good communication and organization skills
Ability to follow written directions
Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
Ability to regularly lift 50lbs
Sample Prep Technician duties include: sample preparation, sample sorting and log-in, performing specific sample testing steps (under supervision), transcribing results, data entry, inventory control, washing glassware, general laboratory cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time position and is eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The laboratory operates weekends, so candidates must be willing to work some weekends.
