HEAD USAIGC TEAM GYMNASTICS COACH
Job Description:
The Competitive Travel USAIGC Head Coach instructs gymnasts from Copper 1- Platinum. The Head Coach acts as a mentor instilling confidence and progression by observing and evaluating each gymnast’s progress in the direction of making positive suggestions for improvement. The Head Coach assures an environment of trust and respect for all, in line with JK Gymnastics & USAIGC guidelines and policies.
- Part-time and full-time opportunities are available. Full-time is preferred.

- Travel to competitions at the local, state, regional, national and international levels.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have prior experience teaching gymnastics as a Head Coach or an Assistant Coach for a competitive gymnastics team. Example: USAIGC, USAG, XCEL, etc.
- Must be able to supervise and spot up to platinum level competitive skills.
- Candidate should be extremely motivated and be able to relate well with all ages and levels of ability.
- Possess and demonstrate excellent customer service, decision-making, problem solving, team focus, critical thinking, and personal leadership skills.
- Must be able to pass or provide documentation of child abuse prevention & mandated reporter training. As well as having a clear criminal background check.
Duties & Other Responsibilities:
- Stay up to date with USAIGC rules and requirements for routines
- Review scores/attendance/performance and evaluate current/future gymnasts for their respective level placement.
- The incumbent must communicate effectively, maintain a positive learning environment, have the ability to encourage and motivate, as well as being well organized.
- Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail. Knowledge of iClassPro helpful. The Head Coach is the first point of contact for USAIGC parents.
Work Environment:
- This job operates in a recreational and educational environment. Travel is required for competitions, but offers many team & coach bonding opportunities!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
