Description:
We are seeking a skilled Territory Sales Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for expanding market share within their assigned territory by focusing on custom packaging solutions for food and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share within the assigned territory
- Identify key decision-makers and present tailored packaging solutions
- Proactively engage with prospects to understand their packaging needs
- Focus on achieving sales targets and generating new business opportunities
- Work with the corporate marketing team to utilize existing marketing materials and share thoughts on additional marketing support needed
- Ensure consistency with the company's branding and messaging
- Regularly assess client satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and provide updates on sales activities and market conditions
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine sales strategies
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the packaging or food industry, with a strong understanding of custom packaging solutions
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, with strong organizational skills to manage a large sales territory
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and a data-driven approach to managing sales activities
- Ability to think creatively about expanding sales efforts, including exploring partnerships with brokers and distributors
