POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the assurance of filling machinery, packing machinery and freezers are properly operating. This includes inspecting packaging of product fill and weight also that coding on product is correct. This function may require lifting up to fifty pounds (50 lbs). This position also requires the Machine Operator to keep the Machinery in good working condition and to alert the Supervisor and Maintenance Dept of any potential or active problems. Additionally, this position requires adherence to Housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety and all other Company Rules and Policies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Adherence to all Company Standards and Company Policy.
- Responsible to communicate with co-workers and/or Supervisors regarding product integrity and continuous improvement.
- Responsible for accurate record keeping of data related to this position. This includes checklist, weights, downtime, specification and quality records. Keeping machinery in good working order, inspection of product quality, presentation and packaging.
- In addition to the above, the position requires open communication with Supervisors, Maintenance Dept and Sanitation of any concerns producing a quality product.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
