Target Compensation: $85,000 – $110,000 Base Salary (Commensurate with experience) Annual/Quarterly Performance Bonuses

A premier commercial facility solutions contractor specializing in commercial overhead doors, rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, and industrial loading dock equipment is seeking a proactive, hands-on Commercial Service Manager for their regional branch in Western Massachusetts.

In this role, you will be the operational anchor of the branch—leading a dedicated crew of field technicians, optimizing dispatch schedules, building accurate repair/replacement quotes, and delivering top-tier service to regional industrial, manufacturing, and logistics facilities.

What You Will Do

• Field Crew Leadership & Mentorship: Direct, schedule, and coach a team of commercial door and dock technicians; conduct jobsite audits and provide technical support on complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Dispatch & Route Optimization: Manage daily service routing and triage urgent commercial service calls to maintain high first-time fix rates and minimize windshield time.
• Estimating & Quoting: Review technician site diagnostics, build accurate labor and material quotes for commercial repairs vs. full replacements, and secure customer approvals.
• Commercial Client Relations: Act as the primary technical contact for facility engineers, logistics directors, and property managers, handling service escalations with speed and professionalism.
• Parts & Inventory Control: Oversee truck stock levels and branch inventory for core components (torsion springs, cables, commercial motor operators, hydraulic cylinders, and dock leveler assemblies).
• Jobsite Safety Enforcement: Uphold rigorous OSHA standards (lockout/tagout, fall protection, ladder protocols, scissor/boom lift safety).

What We Are Looking For

• 5 Years of Service Leadership or Trade Experience: Prior experience as a Service Manager, Dispatch Supervisor, Field Superintendent, or Lead Technician within commercial overhead doors, loading dock systems, or adjacent mechanical trades (material handling, industrial conveyors, commercial HVAC, commercial glass).
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of commercial sectional doors, rolling steel doors, counterbalance spring assemblies, low-voltage control panels, and hydraulic dock systems.
• FSM & Scheduling Proficiency: Experienced using Field Service Management software, CRM platforms, and digital dispatch tools to track technician utilization and work orders.
• Leadership Mindset: A clear communicator who sets high standards, fosters accountability, and maintains a positive, team-first environment.
• Logistics & Clearances: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
