Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, adhering to safety and quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash and card payments with precision and ensuring proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace by following sanitation protocols, including food handling and kitchen cleanliness
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting food service operations to ensure a smooth flow during busy hours
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting food preparation and cooking tasks as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Proven culinary experience or food preparation skills in a restaurant or café setting
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper sanitation procedures
- Customer service experience with the ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and order management
