Requirements:
- 2 - 3 years of commercial concrete experience preferred
- Experience leading a field crew (5 people preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and perform layout
- Strong understanding of elevations, grades, forming, and rebar
- Experience coordinating concrete deliveries
- Experience working with inspectors and project schedules
- Ability to keep production moving while maintaining quality
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Position Summary:
As a Commercial Concrete Foreman, you'll lead a 5-person crew, oversee daily commercial concrete operations, and ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to JJL's high standards. Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct a 5-person commercial concrete crew from layout through project completion
- Read blueprints, establish layout, verify grades, elevations, rebar, and forming
- Maintain quality workmanship while keeping projects on schedule
- Assign work, support crew members, and solve jobsite challenges as they arise
- Order concrete, coordinate deliveries, and schedule inspections
- Communicate with Superintendents and Project Managers to keep projects moving efficiently
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite
Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
