Experienced Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting daily specials and wine pairings to enhance the dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of orders
• Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling and kitchen procedures
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment
• Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements for optimal flow during busy hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Server in fine dining or high-volume food service environments, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation enhances ability to answer guest questions confidently
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Strong sales skills with a focus on upselling beverages and menu items to increase revenue
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous host/hostess or nightclub serving experience is advantageous but not required
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced hospitality environment
