Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle food safety and sanitation protocols diligently, including proper food handling and kitchen communication
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately while processing payments efficiently
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for maximum efficiency

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
• Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a dynamic setting
• Experience with food industry standards, including food safety, sanitation, and basic math for transactions
• Skilled in upselling techniques to boost sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Familiarity with serving protocols, host/hostess duties, bussing, and food handling procedures
