CNC Set-Up Operator - 2nd Shift
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 (open for negotiation - based on experience)
Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Location: Wheeling, IL
Type: Temp to Hire

Our client is a precision manufacturing company specializing in high-quality components and machining solutions. They are seeking skilled CNC Operators to join their growing team and support operations on both day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes and mills with Mazak and Haas equipment.
- Work with Mazak and Fanuc controls.
- Perform machine set-ups: install fixtures, load tools, and touch off tools.
- Input and run CNC programs (no programming experience required).
- Produce first-piece inspections and make minor program edits as needed.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a CNC Set-up Operator (lathes or mills).
- Familiarity with Mazak, Haas, and/or Fanuc controls.
- Ability to perform set-ups, tool changes, and first-piece inspections.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work either day or night shifts.
