- Lead and supervise daily camp activities designed to promote fun, learning, and personal growth for children of various ages.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by implementing proper behavior management techniques and adhering to safety protocols.
- Facilitate a variety of engaging programs including sports, arts and crafts, theater, outdoor games, and educational lessons aligned with camp goals.
- Manage outdoor or indoor activity spaces effectively through strong management skills and attention to detail.
- Provide first aid when necessary, maintaining calmness and professionalism in emergency situations.
- Support campers with special needs by applying inclusive teaching strategies and collaborating with specialized staff or counselors.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members to create a welcoming camp environment that encourages growth and fun.
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or camp programs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques to support diverse needs.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred but can be obtained upon hiring; willingness to complete required training before camp begins.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously while maintaining a lively and positive atmosphere.
- Experience in sports, arts & crafts, theater arts, STEM and teaching is a plus for leading specialized activities.
