What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Intern position at Jingo?
Jingo (www.jingo.app) is a San Francisco-based startup building the Personal Commerce platform. We believe shopping isn’t just about finding products, it’s about making decisions. Every shopper gets a personal companion who understands their taste, helps them discover and decide, and can even shop with a trusted friend or favorite creator, all across the brands they already love.
Hiring for now. This is an on-site role based in our SF-office downtown.
The Role
We're hiring a Marketing Intern who wants to actually build things, not fetch coffee. You'll own real projects across content, outreach, and growth from day one. If you like shopping, understand Gen Z internet culture, and want to see your work turn into installs and orders, this is for you.
What you'll do
- Run outreach campaigns to college clubs, sororities, campus organizations, creators, and cafes
- Draft and ship TikToks, Reels, and short-form video with the team
- Write and send founder-voice emails, DMs, and cold pitches
- Build campus ambassador programs at target schools
- Post organically on Reddit, TikTok, Instagram in the voice of a real shopper
- Track what's working across channels and double down
- Research and reach out to potential brand and creator partners
- Help plan and execute product drops, giveaways, and launch moments
- Turn user feedback into shareable stories
What we're looking for
- Currently enrolled in college or recent grad
- Deeply Gen Z-fluent — you know what's viral before your friends do
- Strong writer with a distinct voice
- Comfortable on camera or willing to get comfortable
- Obsessed with shopping, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle content
- Fast, resourceful, low-ego, high-agency
- Ships more than they overthink
- Bonus: experience running a personal brand, TikTok, Substack, or campus club
What you'll get
- Real ownership over projects you can point to
- Direct mentorship from founders (ex-Walmart, Amazon, Pinterest, Google, Lululemon)
- Paid, Flexible hours
- Front-row seat to a fast-moving consumer AI startup
- Path to full-time for standout interns
