What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Customer Service Representative position at Jims Pharmacy?
Jim's Pharmacy is seeking an individual with excellent customer service skills, has retail sales experience, is a multi-tasker and works well in a team setting. We have recently purchased the Project Scrubs company inventory including healthcare shoes, scrub uniforms, medical student supplies and lab coats and are in need of another team member in our Customer Service Department which also includes, gift, food and over-the-counter items. This is a part-time position, rotating shifts, 30 hours per week, every 3rd rotating weekend shift. Our store hours are Mon - Fri (830am - 7pm), Saturday (9-5pm) Sunday (12-4pm). When scheduled for the 8:30am shift, would be scheduled 8:15 - 4:45pm to help with store opening procedures. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist customers find products and gift items
- Assist customers find styles, styles & sizes in our new scrub uniform & healthcare shoe inventory
- Ring sales through a point-of-sale system
- Answer phones with customer inquiries
- Receiving inventory orders
- Pricing
- Entering inventory into POS system
- Pulling soon to expire products from stock shelves
- Special ordering from our wholesaler of products for customers
- Participate in store event planning
- Creating gift displays
- Creating flyers on sales/special events, etc. computer experience
- Participating in inventory count bi-annually
- Computer experience
- Some purchasing
- Gift wrapping
