Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and standards, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the food prep area, following food safety management practices.
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to meet health regulations.
- Support customer service efforts by engaging with guests, upselling menu items, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to keep service fast and efficient.
- Help with basic kitchen tasks such as bussing tables or cleaning workstations as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes guests feel welcome.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous but not mandatory.
