Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organized Person In Charge to oversee daily restaurant operations. This role is essential in ensuring smooth service, maintaining food quality standards, and leading our team to deliver exceptional hospitality. The ideal candidate will have strong management skills, a passion for food service, and experience in fast-paced restaurant environments.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant activities, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Manage POS systems for order processing and transactions.
- Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Train and develop staff on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage shift cash balancing.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols across all areas of the restaurant.
Experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is required.
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, and food safety management is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Background in hospitality management or restaurant operations will be highly valued.
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively, handle cash responsibly, and manage inventory control.
- Strong communication skills for staff training, customer interactions, and managerial tasks.
- Experience in budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and staff interviewing is a plus.
