Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare a variety of food items with precision and care, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
• Handle cash and card payments with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling stations, kitchen spaces, and dining areas
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining spaces, and ensuring a tidy environment for guests
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly while adhering to food safety regulations
• Support food preparation tasks in the café or retail sections, including stocking supplies and managing inventory

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong skills in food preparation, handling, and sanitation practices to ensure safety standards are met
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with grocery store or retail environments is advantageous but not required
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.15 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 16 per week
