We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Person In Charge (PIC) to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service at our Jimmy John's location. The PIC will be responsible for supervising team members, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train team members to meet performance standards and uphold company policies and procedures
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store, including equipment, countertops, and floors
- Ensure proper food handling and safety protocols are followed by all team members
- Process customer orders and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service, including addressing customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare daily sales reports and track inventory usage
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in food service or customer service
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
