Jimmy John's downtown Tacoma and Fife location are hiring!
This is a part time position! Monday through Friday required, required shift schedule is 10:00am-2:00pm , about 20-25 hours a week.
Easy job making sandwiches/helping take customer orders and you will be rewarded for your awesomeness. This is a very busy location so we are looking for dependable rockstars!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer orders while ensuring food safety standards are met.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions and handle cash accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation surfaces and dining areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and support during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Proven environments
- Proficiency in operating POS systems, including Aloha and Micros
- Strong customer service and cash handling skills
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and transactions
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
