Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company standards, ensuring freshness and quality at all times
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicing machines, toasters, and food prep tools
• Manage food handling procedures with strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly
• Assist customers with their orders, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing exceptional customer service

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations within the food industry or café setting
• Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and sanitation standards
• Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and inventory management
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that promotes a positive dining experience
