Join our dynamic team as an In Shop Associate, where you'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced food service environment. You'll be responsible for preparing food, managing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming shop. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and swiftly
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop area, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and equipment, adhering to sanitation standards
• Assist with bussing tables and food delivery within the shop to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food handling procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or a quick service & fast food restaurant environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail setting within the food industry is advantageous
• Basic math skills for transactions and inventory management; ability to operate kitchen equipment safely

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $25.34 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
