As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our café. You will be responsible for food preparation, cash handling, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. This position will have you working inside the store as a sandwich maker when not delivering orders.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Deliver orders safely minding all traffic and safety laws.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including dining spaces and food preparation areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and monitoring product freshness.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Skills
- Experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or café setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist with cash handling and inventory management.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation techniques.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and operating cash registers, including POS systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Commitment to providing help and support to both customers and fellow team members.
