About the Role
Jimco Sales & Manufacturing is seeking reliable, detail-oriented team members to join our Fort Worth operation as Sheet Metal Packers. This role is essential to ensuring finished products are accurately prepared, packaged, and ready for shipment.

What You’ll Do
- Pack finished sheet metal products for shipment
- Pull and verify parts based on work orders and paperwork
- Measure and organize hardware (screws, fasteners, etc.) for packaging
- Build wooden pallets using power tools (saws, nail guns)
- Scan and track inventory through internal systems
- Ensure all items are packaged accurately and safely
- Follow all company safety and operational procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to read basic paperwork and count quantities accurately
- Comfortable using power tools safely
- Ability to read a tape measure and simple shop drawings
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic (showing up consistently is critical)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Work Environment & Expectations
- Fast-paced production environment with shifting priorities
- Opportunity for consistent overtime
- Hands-on, physical work including lifting and pallet building
- Training provided—this role can be learned by the right candidate with the right mindset
- Typical hours are 5am to 3:30pm (weekends as needed)

- Must be able to pass a background check (if required)
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
