Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician with a strong background in Nissan diagnostics and repair. The ideal candidate is proficient in modern vehicle systems, works efficiently and accurately, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility alongside a supportive team, with room for advancement within a growing family-owned group.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostics, routine maintenance, and complex repairs on Nissan vehicles across the full model lineup, including hybrid and electric models (ARIVA EV)
- Utilize manufacturer-level diagnostic tools and service information to troubleshoot engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, CVT, and VVEL systems
- Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards
- Communicate effectively with the service advisor to ensure timely and transparent customer updates
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Stay current with evolving Nissan technology through ongoing training and certification
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience; Nissan dealership experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Nissan certification(s) or willingness to obtain (training and support provided)
- ASE certifications highly preferred
- Must own a complete set of standard automotive tools; specialty diagnostic equipment provided
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a professional work ethic
