Our high-end residential custom cabinetry company is seeking a talented and detail-oriented interior designer to collaborate with our design team and manage client design projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate has a passion for luxury residential design with exceptional organizational and time-management skills. This role requires strong client-facing abilities, a refined design eye, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers to develop and execute design concepts for luxury residential projects.
- Design custom cabinetry layouts for all areas of the home, with a focus on space planning, material selection, and cabinetry accessories to create highly functional and aesthetically refined spaces.
- Work directly with clients and contractors to specify, coordinate, and manage cabinetry projects from initial consultation through final punch list, including layouts, lighting integration, finishes, hardware, and decorative details.
- Utilize Cabinet Vision (cabinet design software) to produce detailed drawings, elevations, and 3D renderings for client review and sign-off.
- Research and stay current on trends, materials, and innovations in high-end kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and mudrooms.
- Translate client needs and preferences into thoughtful, well-executed design solutions that bring their vision to life.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills in response to shifting priorities and project demands.
Qualifications:
- Professional interior design experience in high-end residential or custom cabinetry projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software; willingness to learn and work in Cabinet Vision.
- Strong skills in space planning, finish and material selection, and color composition.
- Experience with project coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative design team.
- Proven ability to accurately measure spaces in the field or willingness to learn.

Pay: $40, $60,000.00 per year
