Job Summary
Join our vibrant team with our busy Irish bar as a Full Time Server.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system Toast ensuring efficient processing and timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage tables effectively by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a seamless dining flow
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining proper sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety, proper food handling, and timely food preparation
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment in both fine dining settings and lively nightclubs
Qualifications
- Prior restaurant experience with a strong background in food service and guest relations
- Proficiency with POS systems is a must.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation enhances your ability to assist guests effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Strong sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items to boost revenue
- Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate cash handling
- Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus but not mandatory
Pay: $11.60 per hour
