Day Porter – Commercial Cleaning

We're seeking a professional, detail-oriented Day Porter to join the Jidan Cleaning team. As a highly visible member of our cleaning staff, the Day Porter plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for building occupants and visitors throughout the day. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of consistent cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of lobbies, restrooms, conference rooms, hallways, and other high-traffic areas throughout the day.
- Provide prompt and courteous service when responding to on-demand cleaning requests from clients or building occupants.
- Regularly check and restock restroom and kitchen supplies.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as spot-cleaning spills, wiping down touchpoints, emptying trash bins, and maintaining entryways.
- Ensure all assigned areas are inspected periodically to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Report maintenance or safety issues immediately to the supervisor or facility management.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Serve as the face of Jidan Cleaning by maintaining a neat appearance, wearing a uniform, and demonstrating courtesy and professionalism at all times.
- Minimum 2 years of professional cleaning experience with consistent employment history.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with building occupants and clients.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual with excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
