Description
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Quality Control Specialist is a key role within Johnson Health Tech Manufacturing responsible for elevating and maintaining the highest standards of product excellence. This position focuses on the systematic oversight of quality protocols, including advanced inspection and rework management.
The Specialist acts as a technical lead, collaborating closely with operations and manufacturing teams to implement Continuous Improvement Projects. You will be responsible for identifying systemic defects, coordinating complex rework efforts, and ensuring all manufacturing outputs align with company quality standards and safety policies.

Quality Inspection & Auditing:
· Lead and execute First Piece inspections for new finished goods and mechanical components.
· Conduct targeted, data-driven inspections of inventory based on emerging quality trends or field issues.
· Audit inbound materials, assembly line performance, and outbound quality to prevent non-conforming products.
Rework & Corrective Action:
· Coordinate and participate in large-scale rework projects for finished goods.
· Develop and document standard rework procedures to ensure consistency across all departments
Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma required, associate degree in a technical field preferred.
Certifications: Quality Systems certifications (ASQ, Six Sigma) preferred.
Experience:
1-3 years’ experience in a dedicated inspection, quality control, or technical specialist role.

· Serve as a primary quality liaison for Operations Teams, providing real-time feedback.
· Research complex assembly issues and author clear, actionable work instructions.
· Train manufacturing teams on defect entry, tracking systems, and root cause analysis.
· Champion and facilitate Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
· Technical: Proficiency in Office 365; SAP experience highly preferred.
· Tools: Familiarity with measuring instruments (calipers, tension gauges, etc.).
· Logistics: Forklift certification and valid driver's license required; ability to travel internationally.
