We are excited to be expanding our pest specialist division! At Orkin we take pride in being the nations top pest control provider and in the technicians we send into the field. This position focuses primarily on bedbugs, termites, birds and rodents. Our pest specialists earn an hourly pay plus a commission. The expectations are for an established technician to earn over $50k per year and $35-40k in the first year! There is a lot to learn and as your experience increases so does your pay!
This position enjoys top pay for the pest control industry, paid training, medical insurance, paid time off and you get to spray your house for free!
The pest specialist position regularly works early and/or late, spends a lot of time driving, works with potential clients evaluating their pest control needs, works with a variety of tools to solve pest problems including hammer drills and hand tools, applies pesticide in accordance with state and local regulations, gets on roofs/in attics/under houses to get where the pests are and/or enter buildings, and any other tasks assigned. So if you enjoy working outside and on your own this could be the job for you!
The right candidate will be able to work off extension ladders, on roofs, in attics, under houses, is good with their hands and can communicate with people.
We are not looking for someone with experience, we are looking for the right person.
