- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with resident care plans.
- Support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being while fostering dignity, independence, and respect.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and consistent care.
- Assist with basic medical and supportive care tasks within scope of certification (HHA, CNA, or PCA).
- Observe, document, and promptly report changes in residents’ condition or behavior to nursing staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment while adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid HHA, CNA, or PCA certification/licensure required (Massachusetts)
- Demonstrate physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and lift/carry up to 20 pounds unassisted or 50 pounds with assistance
- Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English
