Overview
A growing electronics manufacturer in the Lancaster area is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support the design, development, testing, and production of complex electronic products in a high-reliability environment. This role will serve as a key technical resource across both product development and build-to-print programs, helping drive projects from concept and verification through production support. It is a strong fit for someone with PCB knowledge, hands-on design experience, and interest in working across engineering, testing, manufacturing, and cross-functional project teams.
What you’ll do
Support the design, development, testing, and production of complex electronic products and assemblies
Serve as a technical resource on both new design and build-to-print programs
Work cross-functionally with teams including manufacturing, quality, procurement, test, production, business development, contracts, and program management
Develop and improve test plans, procedures, and fixtures for circuit card assemblies and electrical systems
Participate in product development, prototyping, design verification, and transition to production activities
Review and support analog, digital, and RF-related designs and technical problem solving
Assist with customer and supplier technical communication to help resolve issues and support project needs
Participate in design reviews, test reviews, and engineering change activity
Contribute to product and process improvements that support design quality, throughput, and overall performance
Provide technical support, mentorship, and guidance to internal team members as needed
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with substantial related experience
Experience in electrical product design and development
Strong PCB knowledge and experience reviewing schematics and layouts
Experience with analog and digital circuits
Exposure to RF systems is helpful
Background in test development, troubleshooting, and design verification
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Ability to work effectively across teams in a fast-paced technical environment
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred background
Experience with Altium Designer, SPICE, or similar design and simulation tools
Exposure to EMI/EMC design considerations
Experience with standards-driven or highly regulated products
Background supporting engineering change activity, technical documentation, and production transition
Experience in military, defense, or other high-reliability product environments is helpful but not required
