JFSA is actively seeking a full-time mental health Case Manager /Therapeutic Behavior Specialist in AKRON, OHIO
This position will provide a wide array of community-based services to adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness to maintain community stability and improve quality of life. Therapeutic Behavior Specialist assistance includes:
- Person-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused treatment planning; healthcare coordination, coping skills, and problem-solving development; restoration of interpersonal and social skills
- Restoration of daily living skills
- Crisis prevention and amelioration
- Community resource linkage and referral; and advocacy
This is a Monday through Friday position with NO on-call or after-hour duties. JFSA Therapeutic Behavior Specialists maintain reasonable case numbers where the emphasis is placed on quality of life development.
